A cuban picture view

Due to the taking of over 2,000 pictures (I have to admit that The Beast may have got a bit carried away) and an overload of Cuban culture, this week's BlackLOG is in danger of going into melt-down.  So, to give me some breathing space I've published some photos from our trip.

Nothing says Cuban like a number plate that
spells out Cuba (thanks to Mrs B and
Mini Mega Beast for this shot)

Cuban sunset

Turns out that Cuba have thier
very own Mr Magoo

The Bus Service left a little to be desired
and was currently running about 5 year's
behind schedule....

Mrs B sure knows how to blend
in with the locals....

I'm just glad she did not light it as it would
probably have ended in divorce....

I seemed to attract 4 legged locals
and homeless people. At least the
homeless people don't sniff your
crotch....
How can you resist those little eyes?

This little chap was only a few weeks old
and as sickly as Che Guevara but I would not
bet against him surviving....

This explains a lot, sometimes, just sometimes,
there is too much music....

I like the way the fan and the markings
on the cat mirror each other...

Ripe for renovation

I have a feeling that this might not reach
European electrical safety standards....

A Cuban Citizen Smith.

For the record the cigar was just a prop and a
cynical method of tempting to extort money
out of tourists with heavy cameras.

I've never been cursed by a Rastafarian before.
It's not so bad and should wear off after a couple
of decades….

They might be poor but on the whole
most Cubans seem fairly happy...

He looks a bit defensive over his washing, I guess
there must have been a few recent thefts in the area.

Catch you next week where I hope to fill in the details of our 400+ miles cycling around the Island and publish some more photo's.....(don't worry it won't be all 2,000 of them).

I think we would but so many other places yet to visit. I fear that when America gets it’s paws on the place it will be ruined…..

3 exclamation marks, sounds like I’ve made it to the big league…..As for Cuba, beg borrow or steal a passport from someone and get there before it gets ruined by commercialism…..

With Britain griped in sub Zero temperatures this week, and since I can’t use it for Skiing I’m with you on the warm front

    Gorgeous snaps as always!
Why thank you Danica. I was worried that I had lost your patronage and then found you had not been well, I hope you are feeling better
